We collect information you provide directly when you create an account or use the app: display name, email address, avatar image, posts and comments, photos you choose to upload, and kid profile details (first name, age, and birthdate) that you enter for your own children. We also collect technical and usage information needed to operate the service: account identifier, push notification token (if you opt in), in-app activity such as posts you create and auctions you bid on, FRENS Ticket transactions, shipping address (only if you redeem a physical reward), and standard server logs (IP address, request timestamps).
We use your information to: provide and operate the service; authenticate your account; show your posts and comments to other parents in the community; manage your FRENS Tickets balance and auction bids; ship physical rewards you have won; send transactional and notification email; send push notifications you have opted in to; detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and spam; and meet our legal obligations. We do not use your information for behavioral advertising and we do not sell or rent it.
We do not sell your personal information. Your display name, avatar, and posts/comments are visible to other Frensville users by design. Kid profile data is private to your account and is never shown to other users. We share information with service providers strictly as needed to operate the app: our cloud database and hosting provider, our email delivery provider (Resend) for transactional email, our push notification provider (Apple/Google), our in-app purchase provider (Apple, with receipt validation through RevenueCat), and our text-to-speech provider (OpenAI) for in-game audio. We may also share information when required by law or to protect the safety of our users.
We use HTTPS for all network traffic, hash passwords with bcrypt, and store account data on managed cloud infrastructure with access controls. No method of electronic storage is completely secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account, and to use Sign In with Apple or Sign In with Google if you prefer not to manage a password at all.
Frensville is intended for parents and primary caregivers aged 18 and older. The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. The kid-facing features inside the app (read-aloud books and two simple mini-games) are designed to be handed to your child briefly while you supervise; they do not require the child to have their own account, do not collect information from the child, and do not contact the child outside the app. The "kid profile" data (first name, age, and birthdate) inside Frensville is entered, viewed, and controlled exclusively by the parent who owns the account, is never shown to other users, and is deleted when you delete your account. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, contact us at hello@frens.vc and we will delete it.
You can view and edit most of your personal information directly from the Profile screen in the app. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from within the app at any time (see section 11 below). You can also email us at hello@frens.vc to request a copy of your data or ask any other privacy question.
Frensville does not request precise device location at this time. If we add location-based features in the future we will request your explicit permission first and update this policy.
We request access to your photo library so you can upload a profile avatar and attach images to your community posts. Photos you select are uploaded to our servers, resized for storage, and stored securely. We do not access any photo you do not explicitly choose to upload, and we do not request camera access.
With your permission, we send push notifications for replies to your posts, auction updates, and other relevant in-app activity. You can manage notification preferences within the app or through your device settings at any time.
FRENS Tickets are a virtual in-app currency. You earn tickets by participating in the community, and you can also purchase ticket packs through standard Apple In-App Purchase. Tickets have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, cannot be transferred between accounts, and can only be spent inside Frensville to bid in community auctions. Auctions are not gambling: outcomes are determined by the highest virtual-currency bid at close, there is no random chance element, and there is no cash payout. We process purchase receipts through Apple and RevenueCat to credit your tickets — we never see your payment card or Apple ID password.
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app by opening the Profile screen and tapping "Delete Account." Deletion is immediate and irreversible. When you delete your account we remove your profile, kids, posts, comments, sessions, ticket transactions, referral codes, push tokens, and any reports you filed; we anonymize any auctions where you were the winning bidder. There is no recovery period after deletion.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top, and for material changes we will notify you in the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

By accessing or using Frensville, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.
Frensville is a community platform for parents of children ages 4-10. Users can share tips, activities, milestones, and questions, earn FRENS Tickets, and access curated educational content.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your profile. You must be at least 18 years old to use this service.
You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant Frensville a non-exclusive license to display your content within the app. You agree not to post content that is harmful, abusive, or inappropriate for a parenting community.
FRENS Tickets are a virtual reward currency with no monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred between accounts. Frensville reserves the right to modify the ticket system at any time.
Users may not: post spam or misleading content; harass or bully other users; impersonate others; attempt to manipulate the rewards system; or use the platform for commercial advertising without permission.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings.
Frensville is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform. Curated content is for informational purposes and does not constitute professional advice.
